Multifunctional Evolution and Allocation Optimization of Rural Residential Land in China

The rural residential land functions are the comprehensive embodiment of storage quantity and structural organization man–land system. Mastering evolution rule allocation situation is basis effective management targeted poverty alleviation activities. Based on theoretical understanding multifunction, this paper identifies five functional types characteristic elements uses a variety methods to calculate reveal spatio-temporal differentiation discusses process mechanism spatial pattern function optimization. According results, during sample period, multifunctional index in China was ranked from large small as (RF), living (LF), service (SF), production (PF) ecological (EF), growth rate (PF), (LF) increased by more than 50%. distribution characteristics all indexes were basically same. regional performance east > central northeast west, range each terms interprovincial decreased; however, convergence degree increased, number provinces with comparative advantages various expanded living, ecological, while residential, production, decreased. continuous deprivation their many problems. This study can provide decision support for promoting normalization standardization superior functions.
